A former monastery on the Amalfi Coast, a minimalist resort in the Utah desert and a private island in the Maldives. For some of K-pop’s biggest stars, this year’s vacations came with price tags well into the millions of won a night.

A 1,000-year-old tower in Ravello

Blackpink’s Rose recently shared a set of vacation photos on Instagram with the caption “summer postie.” The images show the singer relaxing in casual clothes, playing the board game Rummikub with friends and sitting at a piano.

The villa in the background is Torre di Civita in Ravello, a hilltop town on Italy’s Amalfi Coast.

The private rental is a converted former monastery and medieval watchtower with roughly 1,000 years of history. It overlooks the coastline and has a swimming pool, several terraces and olive and lemon gardens. Its seven bedrooms sleep up to 14 guests, and a dedicated chef, butler and housekeeping staff come with the stay.

Luxury booking site The Luxury Travel Book lists the weekly rent at 106,250 euros to 168,750 euros ($118,695 to $188,515). Other agencies quote 75,000 euros to 110,000 euros a week for the 2026 season, with prices varying by dates, agency and services included.

Desert at Amangiri

Lisa posted a series of poolside photos in June with the caption “hELLo uTaH.” The backdrop was Amangiri, an Aman resort in Canyon Point, Utah, near Lake Powell and the Arizona border.

Opened in 2009 on a 600-acre desert site, the resort is known for minimalist architecture set into the surrounding canyons. It has long been a discreet favorite of celebrities. Blackpink’s Jennie, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner are among its reported guests.

Accommodations range from suites in the main resort to Camp Sarika, a cluster of 10 tented pavilions added in 2020, each with its own plunge pool. Guests can book spa treatments, yoga and Pilates classes, horseback riding, hiking and hot-air balloon rides.

Lisa’s posts showed her watching the desert sunset in a black gown and riding horseback in a Louis Vuitton denim vest and jeans.

On booking platforms this year, suites in the main resort have averaged roughly $3,000 to $4,000 a night before taxes.

Camp Sarika’s pavilions are larger, at 167 square meters for one bedroom and 260 square meters for two, each with a heated private pool. Stays include full board for two, airport transfers from Page Municipal Airport in Page, Arizona, and access to the main resort’s spa. Aman doesn’t list Camp Sarika prices on its site, but Biirdee Travel reported up to $6,500 a night for a one-bedroom pavilion.

A private island in the Maldives

Actor Hyeri headed to the Maldives in April. She posted photos captioned, “Looks like I had one hell of a vacation,” showing her on a yacht at sunset with a glass of champagne, wearing a black slip dress.

The trip doubled as a reward for her longtime hair and makeup staff, whom she took along on what she had described as her dream trip to the Maldives.

The group stayed at The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, which occupies its own island in Dhaalu Atoll, about 45 minutes by seaplane from Male.

The resort has 77 villas, each with a private pool. Its overwater villas are shaped like manta rays, while the signature bar and spa are modeled on a whale shark and a lobster. There are six restaurants, including one set in an underground wine cellar.

Beach villas start at about $2,500 a night in low season and around $3,100 in high season. Overwater villas run about $3,000 to $3,800 a night. An all-inclusive option costs about $5,500 a night.

At the top of the resort sits the John Jacob Astor Estate, named after St. Regis founder John Jacob Astor IV. Spanning 1,540 square meters over two floors, it is billed as the largest three-bedroom overwater villa in the Maldives and can accommodate up to 12 guests.

The estate has a private gym, a cinema room and a massage room attached to each bedroom. Outside, a terrace wraps around a 92-square-meter infinity pool, along with a Jacuzzi and two plunge pools. There are also three separate quarters for guests’ own staff, and dedicated St. Regis butlers are on call around the clock.

The estate costs more than $20,000 a night.
